This website is an online auction site. We sell power sport items in a number of ways. Items listed may be from our own inventory, insurance salvage, bank repossession, and/or items being sold on consignment. While many of our items may have clear titles or paperwork, there are a number of items that have endured some form of damage and deemed salvage. It is the bidder’s responsibility to thoroughly view the item listing, in which the title status and any damage will be described. Any damage will typically be shown in the bottom, right-hand photos of the item in the auction layout.
We DON’T charge outrageous hidden fees, we don't pad penalties to increase our profits, and we don’t deliberately hide or misrepresent items listed on our site. At RecycledPowerSports, we cater to our customers (both buyers and sellers) and are committed to preventing and terminating customer exploitation.
All items sold on RecycledPowerSports.com are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS.” We strive to provide potential bidders/buyers with accurate and up to date description and photos of all items listed on our site and pride ourselves on unparalleled auction quality. We also invite members to view our items in person during regular business hours to ensure satisfaction.
Membership:
Membership to this website is only available to those you can form a legally binding contract. This website does not permit minors (under 18) to register. If any member fails to register with their correct age the account will be terminated immediately. All members are required to have an active credit card on file to prevent fraudulent or dismissive bidding. Dealers MUST provide proof of dealer license, failure to do so will result in assignment of private account status. Upon submitting registration information, users are entering into a contractual agreement in which registrant certifies all given information is accurate. Falsification of information will result in indefinite restriction from RecycledPowerSports.com and be subject to punishment by law. Members are responsible for all account activity, including but not limited to all bids and transactions made under member's username and password. Accounts cannot be transferred or assigned to another person or entity. In the event that a member's ID is used without authorization, the member holds sole responsibility for honoring transactions made prior to received formal notification of unauthorized or fraudulent activity.
Payment & Item Pick-Up:
Deposits for items can be made using any of the following: Cash, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Bank Wire Transfer and PayPal. Payment in full for items over $500.00 must be made by Cash, Cashier's Check or Bank Wire Transfer. Please note: Cashier's Checks will be held for up to 7 days before we will release the title or other documentation for the item.
Payment for a won item is required by the winning bidder within 3 business days of the auction’s close. Failure to pay within 3 business days will result in a $20/day late payment fee. If item is not paid for within one week of auction close, item will be forfeited and the winning bidder will be charged the $100 re-listing fee.
Winning bidder is responsible for picking up the item in Springfield, Illinois within one week of the auction’s close. Items not picked up within two weeks will cost the winning bidder $5/day in storage fees.
Buyer assumes responsibility for making arrangements to pick up items won. We do not provide transportation or delivery services, however we can work with you to load your item if such arrangements are made.
Buyers residing in the state of Illinois will be responsible for paying state sales tax on some transactions. Dealers must provide proof of dealer's license to qualify for tax exemption.
Your credit card number on file with us will NOT be charged unless you fail to pay for or pick up an item that you bid on and won, in which case you will be charged a re-listing fee of $100.
Return/Refund:
Our Return/Refund Policy varies by item. Be sure to read auction details carefully for an item’s return/refund status.
Disclaimer:
RecycledPowerSports.com holds the right to suspend or terminate any auction or use of the service immediately and without notice if you fail to abide by the aforementioned terms and conditions. If we suspect foul or fraudulent behavior, we will suspend your account until the issue can be investigated further.
We offer NO warranties on any items sold on our site and assume NO liability. Buyer is 100% responsible for items won.
