Unfortunately, there are illegitimate bidders out there who purchase items and don't pay for them. As a means to ensure that bidders are intentional, we have added a credit card verification step, which will require users to process a payment of $1.00 through their credit card. This $1.00 payment can be credited towards your first purchase upon request, so becoming a bidder essentially costs you nothing, but allows us to weed out users who bid up items with no intention to pay. Once verified, your credit card will not be charged or used for any reason, with the exception of incurred fees if you fail to pay for an item. You will always be notified prior to any charges or fees. We do not give your information out to anyone. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns about this new step in the bidder verification process. We apologize for the inconvenience, it is unfortunate that one or two people can spoil it for everyone.
